Completely Unaware

Silently she sleeps
still unaware
that her love is nearby
if she could only wake
and if magic of love could partake
Carefully he wonders
if she does really care
and the magic of love decipher
one of its own wares
her face hidden in the pillow
hidden from his stare
even then she wonders
if he does really care
somewhere. someday yonder
with wings of love they fly
but for now he will just stare at her
while she calmly sleeps nearby

Great to see you try your hand at writing poetry when so many other young people follow the line of least resistance. Text speak. Anguished Facebook status updates.
Wonderful read. I hope there’s more where that came from.
