If you want to be of service,
You must be like water
A cup of it sustains life
While a torrent destroys another

Like water, service must be free
Without hope for reward or any fancy
Service, like a river, always flowing
Always majestic, and never resting

Service is like water in abundance
Should be used as a gentle cradle of life
Like the Great Giver, full of forbearance,
In serving mankind, he gave up his life

To be of service is to have integrity
Doing and saying in truth and honesty

I know the title is quite disturbing, but I thought I’d post this for my father. You see, having an account at a social media website with my father, I can surely see what he says there. Unfortunately, he does not tell it to us, not even to me.

He wrote that he did not want to write anymore. That’s the reason I’m posting this. Hey, I know my father’s a great writer. It’s surprising to hear from him that he doesn’t want to write anymore. Well, if he does not write anymore, then I’m toast. One reason I get to blog was from him.

Let’s put it like this, writing is just like a journey through life. As people go through life, they think, they act, they read, they write, they take a rest. I can’t imagine life without some rest. But having some rest doesn’t mean stopping for good right?

I believe that most people act upon motivation. Motivation is like a battery to the enthusiasm of people. Like most batteries, Motivation usually gets empty. It’s either you change batteries, or charge it for sometime.

I guess what I’m saying is, it’s stupid to act on impulse, though most people nowadays do. Facing critics are what all people go through. Critics are there to critic. That’s their life. Chef’s cook, Engineers build,Dancers dance, and writers write.

Well, you can only really stop on what you’re doing when you’ve stopped on living. That is, When  you’re dead. So as long as You’re alive, don’t Stop!
Don’t Stop Writing!!

It might be a little late for introductions, but let me introduce myself anyway. I’m Ralph Emerson. Eldest son to Arnaldo and Nimia. It’s a late introduction Because I already had two posts in this blog without even introducing myself. I guess I’m just too excited back then to write an introduction post. And why write an introduction post? Because you wouldn’t know who I am if I don’t introduce myself. So basically, this was created by my dad for me on my request.

I guess that’s all for an introduction. Just don’t expect much from me coz  I’m the son of my dad. He and me are not exactly the same. Though I’m quite like him.
